The Port of Portland notice of budget hearing for fiscal year 2025-26

A public hearing on the budget for the Port of Portland for the fiscal year 2025-26, in the total amount of $2,677,585,100 will be held by the Multnomah County Tax Supervising and Conservation Commission at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday June 11, 2025.

The meeting will be in-person at Port of Portland Headquarters Building, 7200 NE Airport Way, Portland, Oregon, 8th floor Chinook Room and will be streamed live on the Port’s Commission page and YouTube channel. The meeting will also be held virtually for those Commissioners, members of the public, presenters and staff unable to attend in person.

Written public comments can be submitted via email at testimony@portofportland.com. If you wish to provide live testimony, you may do so in person, or you may send an email with your first and last name to testimony@portofportland.com and you will be provided with a link to testify via MS Teams. The deadline to sign up for live testimony via MS Teams is noon on the day prior to the Port of Portland Commission Meeting.

Taxes levied will be at the Measure 50 established permanent rate of $0.0701 per $1,000 (levy amount is estimated at $18,143,295). There will be no tax levy for the Debt Service Fund in fiscal year 2025-26. The fiscal year 2024-25 tax amount certified by county tax assessors was $17,452,551, which was the total amount of taxes levied for the fiscal year 2024-25. The estimated increase in taxes levied from fiscal year 2024-2025 to 2025-2026 is $690,744. Any interested citizen may discuss any part of the budget at the hearing. Public comments and questions can be submitted via email at BudgetTestimony@portofportland.com. A copy of the budget is available on the Port’s Finance and Statistics page.
