Port commissioners are local community and business leaders who believe in our organization's power to drive economic growth and connect people across our region to more opportunity. Our nine-member Commission provides oversight of Port activities and sets Port policy. Its members are appointed by the Governor of Oregon to four-year terms and their appointments are ratified by the Oregon Senate.
The Port of Portland Board of Commissioners meets the second Wednesday of every month at 9:30 a.m.
Written public comments for the Commission can be submitted via email at testimony@portofportland.com.
If you wish to provide live testimony, you can do so in person or via Microsoft Teams. If you prefer to provide testimony via Teams, please send an email with your first and last name to testimony@portofportland.com no later than 12pm the day before the Port Commission meeting.
